Neffy is an award-winning independent singer-songwriter and self-taught musician. Gaining her training from high school choir and musical theatre, she found her musical voice and developed her artistry while attending college in New York City. Shortly after her move, she released her first album and professionally toured along the East Coast, playing shows in New York, Philadelphia, and Washington D.C. In 2021, she entered NPR’s Tiny Desk Contest and won with her original song, ‘Wait Up,’ an entry that rose to the top of over 6,000 contestants. She is a recipient of fellowships and residencies in London, Italy, Washington D.C., and Canada. She is currently a judge for the 2024 NPR Tiny Desk Contest.
